Stanhopea Chocolate Chips is available in cultivation and can be successfully grown in intermediate conditions. It's very fragrant and smells like chocolate. It blooms in the San Jose area of coastal California during the early fall months (Sept-Oct). Basket culture is recommended, as with most stanhopeas, due to the pendant inflorescences.
